There is something uniquely joyous about receiving a letter or card, especially one filled with encouragement and positivity.
There are so many individuals in our churches, community, workplace, neighbourhood, families and friends, who are “broken” and hurting. Love Letter Bundles (LLB) could be the timely uplift they need.
So how will LLB work?
- A number of ladies have been approached and have agreed to be “Writers” of letters or cards
- Currently we have one male writer
- Anyone can nominate an individual that they feel is deserving of an LLB
- Send a brief BIO to Chris Cunliffe (see email address below) explaining why the Nominee is deserving this gesture – it is important that these nominations for LLB are handled with care, so give enough information to respond thoughtfully and appropriately
- Once the BIO has been received by Chris, it will be passed to the “Writers”
- Each “Writer” will prayerfully respond with a letter or card, which they will then be placed into a designated box at CLC St Helens – Reception staff at CLC have been made aware of this box. (Currently working out how this will work at Widnes via Jackie Johnson)
- Once these letters/cards have been placed into the box, the “Writers” will send a Whatsapp message / email to Chris who will then collect from the box
- Chris will then “Bundle” them and deliver to the person who made the nomination for them to deliver to the Nominee / Recipient
As we embark on this “Love Letter Bundle” journey let us anticipate many heartwarming stories of how individuals have been implicated. Each “Bundle” will carry with it a story of hope and encouragement. We look forward to sharing these stories with you as a testament to the power of this ministry.
The “Love Letter Bundles” ministry is more than just a collection of letters and cards. It is a movement of love, kindness, and connection. It is an opportunity for us to reach out to those who are hurting and offer them a ray of hope. As we launch this ministry, we do so with a heart full of anticipation and a belief in the transformative power of love.
