Led, Not Lost

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul He Leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Psalm 23.

This piece reflects the assurance of being led.

Rather than focusing on destination, the artwork centres on companionship. The journey unfolds not through force or haste, but through trust, a steady presence guiding each step. Even in unfamiliar terrain, there is no urgency to strive, no need to fear what lies ahead.

Psalm 23 is not a promise of an easy path, but a declaration of nearness. The shepherd does not remove every valley; He walks through them. Stillness is found not in the absence of difficulty, but in the confidence that provision, direction, and care are already present.

This artwork invites the viewer to rest in the truth that they are known, guided, and protected. That even when the way forward feels uncertain, they are not wandering, they are being led.

Led, Not Lost is a meditation on trust, surrender, and the quiet confidence that comes from knowing whose voice you follow.
